2010 Release- Rhythm Up - Rich's first solo record released on CDbaby and iTunes. Recording with drummer Ray Levier at the Clubhouse in Rhinebeck, as well as drummer Shawn Pelton in New York City, The record is called Rhythm Up and it is hot! Rich tracked his guitars, mainly his black Les Paul Custom, through an amazing collection of vintage amps with Vincent Miraglia at Analog Design Studios.

Jan 2012 - Rich's music continues to be used extensively in the #1 show on Cable, Pawn Stars. With over 8.5 million viewers a week, the hits keep on coming! He also wrote the intro for the hit Animal Planet show "The Haunted". Additional shows using his music include Fox NFL and NHL, American Restoration, New York Ink, Americas Next Top Model, Anthony Bourdaine and many more.


Jan 2012 - The Ultimate Guitar Tone Handbook is out! Rich's newest book, co-written with Bobby Owsinski, is finally available. It covers all aspects of creating and recording great guitar sounds, and features an accompanying DVD. Click on the book cover to preview it and place your order.


Summer 2011. Rich featured in Vintage Guitar Magazine! Vintage Guitar recently did a full feature on Rich, discussing not only his new record Rhythm Up, but also his work with such artists as Al DiMeola and Ace Frehely. Special thanks to Pete Prown for his fine work on the article.

Jan 2012 - FOX NFL - Hot off the press! Two of Rich's cuts, "A Super Sport" and "Fast and Furious" will be appearing on the FOX NFL broadcasts throughout the country. Listen for those wicked guitars!


Jan 2012 - ACE FREHLEY ANOMALY RELEASED - Ace Frehley's long awaited release is finally out and has already hit #27 on Billboard Top 200! Rich worked with Ace to capture some killing guitar sounds. Jan 2012 - Rich's music onstage at TED Med. Recently at the world renonwned TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) conference in San Diego, CA, Rich composed for an extensive segement called The Cardiovascular Continuum for Anatomical Travelogue and Philips, produced by Scott E. Moore.




Jan 2012- Rich's music continues to be used on such shows as "America's Next Top Model" (The CW), "Anthony Bourdaine" (Travel Channel), "Miami Animal Police" (Animal Planet) and "Ultimate Road Trips" (YES Network).




Recording & Mixing News

Jan 2012 - Rich and the late T. Bone Wolk mixed Daryl Hall's 'Live From Daryl's House' with special guests Ray Manzarek and Robbie Krieger of The Doors. Such classics as "People are Strange', "Break on Through", "The Crystal Ship" and "Roadhouse Blues" can be heard at www.livefromdarylshouse.com. Daryl really nailed it and you've also got the great Kenny Aranoff on drums.
